HORATIO RESIDENCE
The Horatio Residence is exemplary of an area of Architectural services that we provide. In this instance, we were approached by a client to take a look at a property that was in the process of being purchased and accessed for renovation. The property was a landmark status, multi-family townhouse located in New York City. As is customary with all our projects during the preliminary phase, a site visit and needs survey is conducted which provides a defined description of the property along with the client’s programmatic needs. The result is the production of a preliminary space program study, a document which can then be used for a contractor’s rough estimate.
Though the complexity of some projects require a more extensive feasibility study, in the case of the Horatio Residence, the study produced by way of our analysis, provided the client with sufficient information to determine if their desired scope of work was in line with their budget. Based on this useful information, the client quickly determined that it would be better to phase the various parts of their project accordingly.
